In conducting this type of background research, you're going to compile some basic statistics about your prospect hospital. For instance, you'll identify where the hospital is located. You'll want to know what type of hospital it is - does it specialize in general medicine? Pediatrics? Psychiatry? Is it a full-service hospital, or does it focus predominantly on rehabilitation?
Beyond that, you'll want to learn what services this hospital offers... how many beds it has in total... the names of the senior staff member... does it have a Web site where you can continually update your information...and the all the key contact numbers... among other things.
Now, ask yourself this question:
"How long would it take you to gather
detailed information on 100 leads?
How about 200?"
Let's suppose, for just one minute, that you don't visit the local library or research recent media stories.
